Payments & billing workflow
This page explains what happens when you subscribe, upgrade, buy add-on credits, or request a plan change. We keep the language simple and focus on what you can expect at each step.
How payments are processed
Card and bank payments are handled by a certified payment partner on our behalf. You complete checkout on a secure page; we never store your full card number on JobAssistAI servers. Your bank statement will show a charge from the payment service provider used for your transaction.
After you pay, your account is usually updated within a minute or two. If your new limits do not appear right away, try refreshing your dashboard — and if anything still looks off, our support team will be glad to help.
Subscriptions & renewals
- Choosing a paid plan starts a billing cycle that matches your plan (for example, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly). You are charged according to the price shown at checkout.
- Renewals happen automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel or change your plan as described below.
- Receipts for successful payments appear in your Subscription area under purchase history, where you can open your receipt when a link is available.
Upgrades
When you upgrade to a higher tier, we aim to apply your new limits as soon as your payment is confirmed. If you already had a scheduled downgrade in progress and you choose to upgrade instead, your new subscription takes priority: the earlier downgrade request is closed automatically so your account reflects what you most recently chose.
Downgrades & plan changes
To move to a lower tier or to the free Explorer plan, use the Support path in your dashboard. Your request is recorded and your billing is scheduled to end after the current paid period, unless you change plans again.
Your current benefits usually stay available until the end of that period; then your account moves to the new plan and its limits. Dates are shown in your subscription area and in the confirmation email.
Add-on credit packs
One-off credit packs are separate from your recurring subscription. They are intended to top up cover letter (and related) usage where your plan allows add-ons. These credits are applied when your payment completes successfully.
